A Kitchen order is confirmed with the payment of a booking fee, this is obviously offset from the overall cost of the kitchen, the deposit secures space in our manufacturing schedule and when appropriate a specific fitting date.
The "installation" date is the key date for most projects, especially if your project involves building works, and with every order we issue a "schedule of dates" which highlights key milestones when action or decisions are required by you or us.
We offer a ‘supply only’ option should you chose to fit your kitchen yourself, or employ a contractor to complete the project. If you or your contractor is fitting, the process is simplified and all we need is a delivery date as you or your contractor is responsible for ensuring the measurements and technical aspects of the design are correct.
We allow six to eight weeks from the time of final survey through to installation, however the timescales to finalise a design will vary with every individual and we always recommend beginning work on the design element of the project well in advance of the timescales for which the kitchen is required.
A Parlour Farm Kitchen is not just fitted, it is scribed and jointed, by our kitchen fitters who are experienced in, and specialise in, fitting our kitchens.. We allow up to 5 days for each installation however in the event that a fit takes longer we will try and ensure that disruption is kept to an absolute minimum. All our fitters are polite, courteous and diligent at all times.
If you have choose to use our beautiful hardwood worktops, these are cut to size and shape on site, so there may well be a little dust however every attempt is made to keep this to a minimum. Granite worktops are templated towards the end of the kitchen fit and then once fabricated they have to be installed, this process typically takes a further 7 - 10 days.
Naturally if we are fitting further afield then we will need to discuss the logistics and fitting abroad can be quoted on an individual basis.
Parlour Farm is renowned for its competitive pricing and costs are calculated according to design, complexity of units, manufacture time and materials used. We keep everything as transparent as possible and always advise as to what is more,- or less, expensive. Given the quality of materials and construction, you will find that, on a true like for like, we are one of the most competitive bespoke kitchen companies in the UK.
Every kitchen is made to order and to your approved design. There are no "stock" units we pull off shelves!
There are companies that purport to be bespoke but only allow you to choose from a selection of units - at Parlour Farm we are truly bespoke.
