The design brief from the client was really quite specific - they wanted a classic shaker kitchen but with a modern contemporary look. There needed to be a separate pantry as well as some additional furniture for display units in other areas of the house, all of which need to be knitted together seamlessly.
The result speaks for itself as our designer brought the whole design together using colours and materials that give an elegant, contemporary look to what could otherwise just be a classic shaker kitchen.
There were a couple of design issues to overcome, the main one being that we did not have enough ceiling height for an extractor and we could not put a downdraft behind the range. The solution was to put in aside-mount downdraft with plasma filters.
We loved the beautiful finish of the kitchens and the care and attention to detail paid by everyone that we dealt with.
